Course Aim
The RTT and radiation oncology nurse is a key person in the work flow of a radiotherapy department. Every day we are faced with the challenge of providing the best patient care, while at the same time being involved in implementation and use of new technology, training of junior staff, and conducting research projects.
- How do we integrate these tasks?
- Are there new results and methods to help us?
- How should departments be organised in order to guarantee high treatment quality together with high efficiency?
- Can RTTs or radiation oncology nurses conduct proper scientific studies?
- How can we utilise novel immersive learning environments to train RTTs or radiation oncology nurses in advanced technologies?
The course will address these questions with lectures, examples and discussions.
Target Group
The course is designed for RTTs and oncology nurses working with patient care and technology.
